Business Cybersecurity FAQs

 

ADT has made a strategic business decision to discontinue all ADT Cybersecurity products and services provided by our operations center in Greensboro, North Carolina. We have no current plans to offer an equivalent service but are always looking for new options to explore for our customers.

 

Effective Dates

The following services will no longer be supported, effective on the dates below:

Services, support, reporting and billing will continue normally until the service end date. After the service-end date, service portal access will no longer be available, and phone support for all products will end.

If your agreement with ADT contains other services not listed above, the agreement will remain valid for the other ADT products and services. If the agreement is solely for the services listed above, the entire agreement will be terminated to coincide with the end of services and support on November 30, 2022.

Any ADT Cybersecurity services that have not yet been installed or are not yet active have been canceled at no charge. Any deposits or pre-payments will be refunded. 

Advanced features associated with our Managed Firewall such as Intrusion Protection, Gateway Anti-virus, and Content Filtering will function normally until November 30, 2022. Access to the internet will remain; however, please be advised your network will no longer receive critical security patches and will be at greater risk from internet-borne threats after this date.

Yes, any additional licenses you purchased will not expire after November 30, 2022 if you decide to keep your current network firewall equipment, but any support from ADT will end on the dates listed above.

For expert assistance in transitioning your cybersecurity service to a new provider, you or your designated client contact can enter support tickets on the ADT Cybersecurity portal or call the Support engineers directly at (855) 892-6845. Make sure you have your 4-digit PIN on hand for our Support engineers.

If you select another Cyber services provider before November 30, 2022, you can cancel your ADT contract without financial penalty provided we receive at least 30 days prior notice.

ADT is not requiring customers to return their ADT-supplied SonicWALL equipment.

Important: If you plan to discard the firewall equipment, take precautions to remove any proprietary data and abide by local laws for the disposal of hazardous equipment. For your convenience, a box or return mailer with a prepaid shipping label will be sent in the next 30 days for your use in returning the equipment.
